Our Values

The core values that drive The Empower Collective LLC are equity and inclusion. This means that students of all identities (pertaining to--but not limited to--gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, nation of origin, religious background, physical or mental ability, neurotype) in our programs are treated with dignity, acceptance, and care. 

We also commit to a deep understanding--and desire to always learn more--of the fact that equity must be seen through an intersectional lens; that is, it is critical to acknowledge that neurodivergence is "othered", and therefore oppressed, within our systems, and those with additional marginalized identities (women, people of color, queer people, physically disabled people, immigrants, etc.) face exponentially larger barriers within our world's structures. 

Our work is always aimed at creating more equitable and just spaces through a neuro-affirming culture and mission.
